Overall good dining experience. The rice is rich with the flavour. The sambal is a bit sweet for me. The fried chicken was fried to perfection and tastes great.

Of course when we talk about Nasi Lemak, the Sambal is the Quintessential Soul of the Dish. It is Deep and Complex with an Earthy Sweetness and a Spicy Heat that won't bite your Tongue but will linger long. Has a Gritty texture and I felt that Onion is Heavily Used. There are also Ikan Bilis providing a Slight Crispy Crunch. Excellent Sambal. Rice has a Coconuty Milky Robust Taste with a Very Flavourful 马来风味. Uses Jasmine Rice and has a Stickier Bite Texture. Not your "Throw Coconut Milk into a Rice Cooker" and be done with it type of Nasi Lemak. There aren't a Huge Variety of Side-Ingredients to choose from. Quite a Big Juicy Drummy, the 1st Bite into it has an Intense Hit of Saltiness followed immediately by a Good Savoury Taste of the Marinade. Meat is Soft and Tender. Its not Freshly Fried although it is Warm, not Cold. I can tell why many people liked this one. This is worth to try. Beef Rendang Another Raved Dish by Google Reviewers. Has a Beefy Savoury Rich Rendang Taste that is Saltish but I feel the Texture is abit Too Tough. I prefer my Rendang to be those Soft Soft type. Not my type of Beef Rendang but I can also tell why this is Popular. Nothing special about the 4 Quail Eggs on a Stick. Its literally just Quail Eggs slathered with their Sambal. Conclusion and Closing Thoughts At RM15.00 (S$4.60) for everything with No Service Charge, I thought it was Affordable for what I took. This Nasi Lemak tasted Very Decent and Above Average Quality. There is alot of work done and its not just a Simple "Throw Coconut Milk into Rice Cooker" type of Quality. The Sambal is definitely worth your time as it is Complex in Taste and Texture. Ayam Goreng is definitely a Must-Order, although I wished I got a Freshly Fried Batch which would have been Mind-Blowing. Although the Rendang is Too Tough for me and not Soft Type that I prefer, I thought it was still Acceptable. I wish is they have more Vegetables Options. I understand their Lontong Sayur is also popular so you can order it if you want a Vegetable Component although it will cost an Extra RM6.00 (S$1.90). The Honor System used by Malaysian Malay Eateries always fascinates me. The Amount of Trust between the Customer and the Eatery never fails to impress. This is something that cannot be found in SG Eateries. This is Customer Service on a Whole Different Level. The food is SUPERB Rice are plump, rendang is tasty, sauce is perfect. My 3yo son also love their begedil & chicken. We also love the local vibe (and price) in here. Definitely will revisit.

Lovely nasi lemak spot in JB.. My friend told me it's the best in JB and indeed the nasi lemak was good. The rice is fluffy and fragrant. The sambal slightly sweet but has that spicy kick to it. Fried chicken was OK, I have had better ones but the rendang beef was amazing, very tender yet has that bite to it. Good selection of dishes. Only disappointment to the nasi lemak is that it does not come with ikan bilis and peanuts.

Was introduced to try this place during a discussion about rendang a while back. We came on a Saturday evening and got almost all the ingredients; it's self service from a counter and the staff will come over to calculate the cost after. Really like the sambal, rice would have been greater if it was piping hot. Rendang was also rather decent.

Tastes just as good as I remembered. The beef is just to die for, incredibly juicy and sweet while being supple and easy to chew. The chicken is good as well but I far prefer the former.
